Ingredients
For the Glass
- 1 lime (cut into wedges)
- Kosher salt or flaky margarita salt
- Ice cubes (as needed)
For the Mocktail
- 1.5 ounces fresh lime juice (about 3 tablespoons or 1 ½ medium limes)
- 1 ounce fresh orange juice (about 2 tablespoons or ½ medium orange)
- 0.5 ounces fresh lemon juice (about 1 tablespoon or ½ medium lemon)
- 2 teaspoons agave nectar
- Sparkling water or club soda (as needed to top off)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass to moisten it. Dip the rim into kosher salt or flaky margarita salt to coat it evenly. Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill.
- Mix the Juices: In a cocktail shaker or a suitable cup, combine the fresh lime juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and agave nectar. Shake vigorously or stir well until all ingredients are fully blended and the agave nectar is dissolved.
- Assemble the Mocktail: Pour the mixed citrus juices into the prepared glass over the ice. Top up with sparkling water or club soda to your desired level. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim for an added touch of freshness and visual appeal.
Notes
- You can adjust the agave nectar amount to suit your preferred sweetness level.
- For a spicier twist, add a few slices of jalapeño or a sprinkle of chili powder on the rim.
- Use fresh citrus juices for the best flavor; bottled juices will not yield the same bright taste.
- This mocktail is perfect for summer gatherings or as a sophisticated non-alcoholic option.
