A delicious and easy-to-make Tiramisu Overnight Oats recipe that combines the rich flavors of espresso and cacao with creamy yogurt and wholesome oats. Perfect for a quick, nutritious breakfast with a coffeehouse twist.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes prep + overnight soaking
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Pinch of sea salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 espresso coffee shot (or instant coffee)
  • ⅓ cup milk (almond milk recommended)
  • 4 tbsp yogurt (Greek, plant-based, or vanilla yogurt)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Topping

  • Cacao powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare espresso shot: Make an espresso coffee shot and allow it to cool slightly while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Combine dry ingredients: In a container or bowl, mix the rolled oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of sea salt thoroughly.
  3. Mix wet ingredients: Add the maple syrup, vanilla extract, milk, and cooled espresso shot to the dry ingredients. Stir until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate overnight: Cover the mixture and place it in the fridge overnight to soak and develop flavor.
  5. Layer oats and yogurt: The next morning, take half of the overnight oats mixture and place it into a clear glass or mason jar. Flatten the layer with a spoon, then add 2 tablespoons of yogurt on top and smooth it out evenly.
  6. Repeat layering: Add the remaining oats mixture as the next layer and top with the remaining yogurt, smoothing gently.
  7. Finish with cacao dusting: Dust the top generously with cacao powder before serving to enhance the tiramisu flavor experience.

Notes

  • You can substitute the espresso shot with strong instant coffee if preferred.
  • Use plant-based milk and yogurt options to make this vegan-friendly.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup to your taste.
  • The oats should soak overnight for best texture and flavor.
  • Serve chilled for a refreshing breakfast treat.
