Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff (marshmallow creme works as well)
- 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
- 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, divided
- 1/2 cup chocolate, chopped (I used Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolate bar)
- 1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts (optional)
Toppings and Dippers (Optional)
- Crushed graham crackers
- Additional chopped chocolate
- Additional chopped hazelnuts
Instructions
- Whip the Cream: In a medium bowl, pour the cold heavy whipping cream and add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Set this whipped cream aside for now.
- Cream Cheese and Marshmallow Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and marshmallow fluff. Use a hand mixer to beat them together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add the remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and continue beating until fully incorporated.
- Fold in Whipped Cream: Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese and marshmallow mixture using a spatula. Gently combine the two mixtures without deflating the whipped cream to keep the dip light and fluffy.
- Add Chocolate and Nuts: Stir in 1/2 cup of the chopped chocolate and, if using, 1/3 cup chopped hazelnuts. Mix gently to distribute evenly throughout the dip.
- Chill the Dip: Transfer the prepared dip into a serving bowl and cover it tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the dip until you’re ready to serve, allowing the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
- Serve: When ready to enjoy, sprinkle the dip with crushed graham crackers, additional chopped chocolate, and chopped hazelnuts if desired. Serve with graham crackers or other dippers of your choice.
