Instructions
- Prepare: Let the frozen pineapple chunks sit at room temperature for about a minute to slightly soften them for smoother blending. Optionally, chill the serving glasses ahead of time in the refrigerator.
- Blend: Add the pineapple juice, frozen pineapple chunks, ice cubes, cream of coconut, heavy cream, lime juice, and salt to a high-powered blender in the order listed. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and frosty, making sure there are no large ice chunks remaining.
- Serve: Taste the Pina Colada and adjust the lime juice or sweetness if needed. Pour the blended mixture immediately into the chilled glasses. Garnish with pineapple slices, lime slices, and Maraschino cherries for a traditional and festive presentation. Serve right away to enjoy the fresh, creamy texture.
