Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and position the oven rack in the center to ensure even browning of the crostini.
- Prepare and Toast Bread: Lightly brush both sides of the baguette slices with extra-virgin olive oil. Arrange them in a single layer on a sheet pan. Bake in the preheated oven, flipping halfway through, until they are lightly browned and crisp on both sides, about 10 to 12 minutes. Once toasted, allow them to cool and store at room temperature in an airtight container or zip-top bag for up to two days.
- Assemble Crostini: Transfer the toasted baguette slices to a serving platter. Top each slice with a thin slice of pear and a piece of torn burrata cheese.
- Drizzle and Season: Drizzle each crostini with sherry vinegar and honey to add a balance of tangy sweetness. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over the top, and finish with flaky salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
