Ingredients
Fries
- 28 ounces French fries (fast food style or homemade)
Toppings
- 2 teaspoons truffle oil (white truffle oil preferred, more or less to taste)
- 2 pinches flaky salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (adjust according to preference)
- 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (more or less to taste)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
Instructions
- Prepare the Fries: Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package. Line two large sheet pans with parchment paper and lightly spray with olive oil spray. Spread the fries evenly between the two pans, then lightly spray the top of the fries to promote crisping.
- Bake the Fries: Place the sheet pans in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through to ensure even baking, until the fries are crisp and golden brown.
- Toss with Truffle Oil: Remove the fries from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Drizzle the fries with white truffle oil, then gently toss to coat them evenly in the oil without breaking them.
- Add Toppings and Serve: Transfer the tossed fries to a serving dish. Sprinkle flaky salt over the fries, followed by the freshly grated parmesan cheese. Drizzle with balsamic glaze as desired, and finish by sprinkling finely chopped parsley on top for a fresh finish.
