Ingredients
Crust
- 16 ounces sugar cookie dough (room temperature)
Cream Cheese Topping
- 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings
- 2 cups crushed Oreos
- 1/2 cup white chocolate wafers (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the cookie crust.
- Prepare the Crust: Grease a 12-14 inch round pizza pan or a 9×13 inch baking dish. Pat the sugar cookie dough evenly into the bottom of the pan about 1/3 inch thick.
- Bake Crust: Bake the cookie dough for 10-12 minutes until the edges turn slightly golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
- Prepare Cream Cheese Topping: While the crust cools, place the room temperature cream cheese in a stand mixer bowl fitted with the whisk attachment. Beat on medium-high speed until smooth, light, and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Turn off the mixer and add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix on low speed briefly to combine, then increase to high speed and beat again until fluffy and fully incorporated.
- Assemble the Pizza: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust using an offset spatula. Sprinkle the crushed Oreos evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Melt White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring between each until smooth. Transfer melted chocolate to a piping bag and drizzle artfully over the pizza. Let the chocolate set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Serve: Once the chocolate has hardened, slice the dessert pizza into 8 servings and enjoy your decadent Oreo dessert pizza.
Notes
- Make sure the sugar cookie dough and cream cheese are at room temperature for easier spreading and smoother mixing.
- The thickness of the cookie crust can be adjusted, but keeping it around 1/3 inch ensures even baking and a perfect base.
- If you do not have a piping bag for drizzling, use a spoon to drizzle the melted white chocolate.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days for best freshness.
- For an extra touch, add fresh berries or a sprinkle of sea salt over the white chocolate drizzle.
