Ingredients
Fruits
- 2 cups mango (frozen, if possible)
- 2 medium mandarin oranges (frozen, if possible)
- 1/4 medium avocado (ripe)
Liquids & Dairy
- 2 cups almond milk, unsweetened (or other milk of choice)
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
Spices & Extras
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients. If using fresh fruit instead of frozen, reduce the almond milk to 1-1.5 cups to maintain a thicker texture.
- Add Ingredients to Blender: Pour the almond milk into a high-speed blender first, followed by adding the frozen mango, mandarin oranges, Greek yogurt, ripe avocado, ground ginger, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
- Blend Until Smooth: Blend all ingredients on high speed until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and well combined.
- Adjust Consistency and Flavor: Taste the smoothie and adjust the flavors or liquid amount as desired to reach your preferred taste and consistency.
- Serve and Enjoy: Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for the freshest taste.
Notes
- Using frozen fruits helps create a thick and frosty smoothie texture.
- If using fresh fruit, reduce the almond milk to avoid a watery smoothie.
- Avocado adds creaminess and healthy fats.
- Unsweetened almond milk keeps the smoothie low in sugar, but you may add a natural sweetener if desired.
- This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours; stir before serving.
