Delicious and easy-to-make Instant Pot Brownie Bites that are rich, moist, and perfect for a quick chocolate treat. Using brownie mix and cooked effortlessly in the Instant Pot, these bite-sized desserts are topped with chocolate sprinkles for a fun finishing touch.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 12 brownie bites

Ingredients

Brownie Batter

  • 1 16-oz box brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp water

Toppings

  • Chocolate sprinkles (for toppings)

Other

  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the molds: Spray the egg bite molds thoroughly with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking during cooking.
  2. Mix the batter: In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir until a smooth, consistent batter forms with no lumps.
  3. Fill the molds: Pour the batter evenly into each mold, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top to allow for expansion.
  4. Cover and stack: Cover the filled molds with foil securely, then stack them on the Instant Pot trivet for cooking.
  5. Add water to Instant Pot: Pour water into the Instant Pot base according to your model’s minimum water requirement, ensuring enough steam for pressure cooking.
  6. Place molds and seal: Place the trivet with the molds inside the Instant Pot. Lock the lid in place and set the steam release valve to the Sealing position.
  7. Pressure cook: Select High Pressure cooking and set the timer for 30 minutes to cook the brownie bites thoroughly.
  8. Natural pressure release: When cooking finishes, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes for best texture.
  9. Quick release: Carefully move the valve to Venting to release any remaining pressure. Open the lid once all pressure has escaped.
  10. Remove and cool: Take the molds out of the Instant Pot. Remove the foil and let the brownie bites cool slightly to firm up before removing from molds.
  11. Add toppings and serve: Optionally, sprinkle chocolate sprinkles over the warm brownie bites for added texture and flavor. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the molds are sprayed well with non-stick spray to avoid sticking.
  • Do not overfill the molds to prevent overflow during cooking.
  • Adjust water amount in Instant Pot base according to your specific model’s requirements for pressure cooking.
  • Natural pressure release is important to prevent cracking or drying out the brownie bites.
  • Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips to the batter for extra flavor.
  • Brownie bites can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently in microwave before serving if needed.
