- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- one 10-oz. bag of mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 12-ounce box of Golden Grahams cereal
Instructions
- Prep: Set aside one cup of the mini marshmallows from the bag to add later separately.
- Chocolate Mixture: In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter, chocolate chips, the remaining mini marshmallows, and vanilla. Stir consistently until the mixture is mostly smooth and fully combined.
- Add Golden Grahams: Remove the pot from heat and mix in the entire box of Golden Grahams cereal along with the reserved one cup of marshmallows. Stir well to combine all ingredients evenly.
- Press Into Pan: Transfer the mixture into a 9×13 inch pan, pressing firmly to pack it down evenly. Allow the bars to cool and solidify for one to two hours at room temperature.
- Cut and Serve: Once set, cut the slab into 12 large bars. Serve and enjoy your Golden Grahams Bars!
Notes
- For best results, press the mixture firmly in the pan to help bars hold together well.
- You can substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips if you prefer a less sweet taste.
- Store leftover bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- If Golden Grahams cereal is unavailable, you can use a similar honey-flavored crunchy cereal.
