Ingredients
Yogurt Base
- 2 cups Greek yogurt or your preferred yogurt
- 1-2 tbsp honey, maple syrup, or agave
Toppings
- 2 sliced peaches or any preferred fruits or berries
- 1 handful chopped nuts or granola
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon the Greek yogurt onto the sheet and use the back of a spoon to spread it out evenly in a thin layer with a swirl motion.
- Add toppings: Arrange the peach slices or your choice of fruits evenly over the yogurt. Sprinkle the chopped nuts or granola on top and gently press them into the yogurt to help them adhere. Drizzle the honey or syrup over the toppings for sweetness.
- Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight, until the yogurt bark is completely set and firm.
- Serve and store: Once frozen, remove the bark from the baking sheet and break it into bite-sized pieces. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer. To prevent sticking, separate layers with parchment paper.
Notes
- You can customize the fruit toppings to your preference, using berries, kiwi, or mango instead of peaches.
- Choose your favorite nuts or granola for added crunch; try almonds, walnuts, or pistachios.
- Use Greek yogurt for a thicker consistency and higher protein content, but any yogurt will work.
- For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and maple syrup or agave as the sweetener.
- Store leftover bark in the freezer and enjoy as a cold snack anytime.
