- 2 Bananas
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
Chocolate Coating
- 1 (10 oz) bag dairy free chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (use refined if you don’t want any coconut taste)

- Dried banana slices
- Sea salt
Instructions
- Slice the Bananas: Peel the bananas and thinly slice them about 1/4 inch thick, or to your preferred thickness for the bites.
- Prepare the Strawberries: Rinse the strawberries thoroughly, remove the green stems, then slice them to approximately the same thickness as the banana slices.
- Assemble the Stacks: Create stacks by placing one banana slice down, topped with a strawberry slice, and then another banana slice on top. Arrange these stacks on a parchment paper lined tray or plate and freeze them for about two hours until firm.
- Melt the Chocolate: Combine the dairy-free chocolate chips with the coconut oil and melt together using a double boiler or microwave. If microwaving, heat in 30-second increments, stirring between each until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
- Coat the Frozen Stacks: Let the melted chocolate cool slightly, then dip each frozen strawberry banana stack into the chocolate, using two forks to ensure it is completely coated. Place the coated stacks back onto parchment paper and, if desired, sprinkle with sea salt, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, or crushed dried banana chips. Work quickly to prevent the fruit from thawing.
- Freeze Again: Return the chocolate-coated stacks to the freezer and hold them there for 30 minutes to 1 hour until the chocolate is fully hardened and the treats are completely frozen.
