A creamy and refreshing Peach Milkshake made with fresh or frozen peaches, blended with milk, vanilla extract, and rich vanilla ice cream. Perfect for a quick and delicious summer treat, topped optionally with whipped cream and fresh peach slices.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz frozen peaches (about 1 heaping cup)
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream (good quality, packed tightly)
  • 1 fresh peach, chopped (optional, for garnish)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Blend peaches and liquids: Combine the frozen peaches, milk, and vanilla extract in a high-speed blender. Blend until the peaches are chopped and the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  2. Add and blend ice cream: Add the vanilla ice cream to the blender. Blend again just until smooth and thick, using a blender tamper if needed to press ingredients towards the blades.
  3. Serve and garnish: Pour the thick milkshake into glasses. Top with whipped cream and chopped fresh peach slices, or stir whipped cream into the shake to create a swirl effect. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a thicker shake, use less milk or more ice cream.
  • Fresh peaches can be used instead of frozen if preferred; add ice cubes for chill.
  • Use full-fat milk and high-quality vanilla ice cream for the richest flavor.
  • To keep the shake cold longer, chill the glass beforehand.
  • Whipped cream and fresh peach garnish are optional but add elegance and extra flavor.
