Dough

Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, flour, salt, and garlic powder. Stir with a spoon until the cottage cheese is well coated with flour, then knead the mixture until a cohesive dough forms that can be shaped into a ball.
- Shape and pre-bake the crust: Roll out the dough using a rolling pin or stretch it with your hands, adding additional flour if the dough is sticky. Form into at least a 12-inch circle and place it on a parchment-lined sheet pan. Roll the edges up about 1/4-inch to form a crust lip. Bake the crust for 10 minutes to set it.
- Add sauce and seasoning: Remove the pre-baked crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge. Sprinkle the sauce with Italian seasoning for added flavor.
- Assemble and bake the pizza: Top the pizza with shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced olives, cherry tomatoes, and half of the fresh basil leaves. Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and lightly golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly. You can add the remaining fresh basil after baking for freshness.
- Rest and serve: Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes to allow the crust to set before slicing and serving.
