- 1/2 large avocado (mashed)
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce (such as Frank’s)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Variation 4: Pickle Yogurt Sauce
- 3 tbsp Greek yogurt
- 1 large dill pickle (diced, about 1/4 cup)
- 1 tbsp pickle juice

- Vegetables: avocado, carrots, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, peas, cauliflower, asparagus, onion
- Herbs: cilantro, parsley, green onions
- Nuts: almonds, cashews, pecans
- Seeds: sunflower, sesame, pumpkin, hemp hearts
Instructions
- Prepare Tuna: Drain the can of tuna thoroughly and place it in a mixing bowl. Choose one of the four sauce and seasoning variations and mix thoroughly with the tuna to combine all flavors evenly.
- Prepare Rice: Cook rice according to package instructions if not already prepared, or reheat any leftover cooked rice. Add the warm rice to the bowl containing the seasoned tuna and gently stir to combine or keep separate as preferred.
- Add Toppings and Serve: Top the tuna and rice mixture with your choice of fresh vegetables, herbs, nuts, and seeds to add flavor, texture, and nutritional value. Serve immediately while the rice is warm for the best experience.
