Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and rinsed
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Add the hulled and rinsed strawberries, water, and granulated sugar into a large blender. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes or until the mixture is smooth. If your blender is not large enough, blend the ingredients in batches to ensure even blending.
- Adjust Sweetness and Strain: Taste the blended mixture and add more sugar if desired. Then strain the liquid through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp for a smooth texture.
- Serve and Garnish: Serve the prepared Agua de Fresa immediately over ice, or refrigerate for up to 3 days. For added flavor and presentation, garnish each glass with lime wedges and fresh mint sprigs if desired.
Notes
- For a pulpier texture, you can skip straining the drink.
- Adjust the sugar quantity depending on the sweetness of your strawberries.
- To keep the drink fresh longer, store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
- Optionally garnish with lime or mint to enhance the flavor.
