Ingredients
Roll Ups
- 5 Small Tortillas (8″-10″ size; if smaller, no need to fold in the sides)
- 25 slices Pepperoni
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese or 5 String Cheese
- ⅓ cup Pizza Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Shredded Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Butter Topping
- 1 tablespoon Butter (melted)
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon Garlic Salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Lay out the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Gather pepperoni slices, shredded mozzarella or string cheese, pizza sauce, and parmesan cheese if using.
- Assemble the Roll Ups: Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce evenly over each tortilla. Place slices of pepperoni and shredded mozzarella or string cheese over the sauce. Sprinkle a little shredded parmesan cheese on top if desired.
- Roll and Fold: Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly to enclose the filling. For larger tortillas, fold in the sides before rolling to prevent filling from spilling out.
- Prepare Butter Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt until well combined.
- Brush Roll Ups: Using a brush, coat each rolled-up tortilla lightly with the garlic butter mixture on all sides.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Cook in Air Fryer: Place the roll ups in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. Cook at 370°F (190°C) for 6-8 minutes or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted inside. Flip halfway through cooking for even crispiness.
- Serve Warm: Carefully remove the pizza roll ups from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these crispy, cheesy treats as a snack or a quick meal.
Notes
- If tortillas are smaller than 8 inches, folding sides is not necessary.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle parmesan cheese inside before rolling.
- Adjust air fryer cooking time depending on your model; watch closely to prevent burning.
- Serve with additional pizza sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the butter topping.
