Ingredients
8 slices of Texas Toast Garlic Bread (frozen)
8 tablespoons pizza sauce
2 oz pepperoni (or other pizza toppings of choice)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or follow the package instructions for the Texas Toast.
- Arrange the frozen slices of Texas Toast on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce on each slice of Texas Toast, making sure to cover the entire surface.
- Top each slice with shredded mozzarella cheese and your choice of toppings, such as pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the toast are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
Store any leftover garlic bread pizzas in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Reheat in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the toast is crispy again.
Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite ingredients such as sausage, veggies, or even pineapple for a Hawaiian twist.
For a spicy version, sprinkle red pepper flakes or drizzle hot sauce over the pizza before baking.
If using fresh mozzarella, slice it thinly and bake a little longer to ensure the bread crisps up.
