Ingredients

Dough:

350 g all-purpose flour

7 g instant dry yeast

1 tsp granulated sugar

1 tsp fine sea salt

2 tbsp olive oil

200 ml warm water

Stuffed Crust:

150 g mozzarella cheese, cut into strips or use string cheese

Toppings:

150 ml pizza sauce

200 g mozzarella cheese, shredded

80 g pepperoni slices

1 tsp dried oregano

0.5 tsp garlic powder

Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough:

    • Combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add olive oil and warm water, stirring to form dough. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.

  2. Prepare the Stuffed Crust:

    • Punch down the dough. Roll it out to your desired pizza size on a floured surface. Place mozzarella strips along the edge, fold the dough over the cheese, and pinch to seal.

  3. Assemble the Pizza:

    • Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread pizza sauce on the dough, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella, and layer with pepperoni. Add oregano and garlic powder.

  4. Bake the Pizza:

    • Brush the exposed crust with olive oil. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
