Ingredients

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

1 1/4 cups milk

2 large eggs

1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup fresh strawberry purée (plus more for topping)

1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and strawberry purée until combined.
