  • Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 4

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese or coconut cream

4 oz yogurt or additional cream cheese/coconut cream

1 cup powdered sugar or sugar-free alternative

5 medium strawberries

Optional: 1/4 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull strawberries, then puree until smooth using a blender or food processor.

  2. Beat cream cheese or coconut cream in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add yogurt (or additional cream cheese/coconut cream) and mix well.

  4. Gradually mix in powdered sugar or sugar-free alternative until smooth.

  5. Stir in strawberry puree and optional vanilla bean paste until evenly blended.

  6. Spoon mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate at least 1 hour to set and chill.

  7. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh strawberry slices or mint if desired.

Notes

  • Substitute other berries like raspberries or blueberries for flavor variation.

  • Use Greek yogurt for tangier mousse.

  • Natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup can replace powdered sugar.

  • Add lemon juice or zest for citrus freshness.

  • For dairy-free, use coconut cream and plant-based yogurt.

  • Store refrigerated, avoid freezing, stir gently before serving if separation occurs.
