Ingredients
2 cups frozen strawberries
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, coconut milk, lemon juice, and powdered sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides or pulsing as needed.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a little more pineapple juice or coconut milk to adjust the consistency. For a firmer, “whip-like” texture, blend for an additional 30 seconds.
- Scoop the strawberry dole whip into serving glasses or cones. Optionally, top with shredded coconut, fresh strawberries, or a sprig of mint.
- For a firmer texture, freeze the mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
Notes
If the strawberries aren’t sweet enough, add more powdered sugar, honey, or maple syrup to taste.
For a creamier texture, use full-fat coconut milk. For a lighter option, try almond milk or oat milk.
Frozen strawberries work best for the classic Dole Whip texture. Fresh strawberries will create a softer texture, more like a smoothie.
