This Strawberry Dole Whip is a creamy, dairy-free frozen treat made with frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, and coconut milk. It’s a refreshing, tropical dessert that’s perfect for warm days, offering the perfect balance of sweetness and tang in a smooth, creamy texture.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2-3 servings

Ingredients

2 cups frozen strawberries

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons powdered sugar (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine frozen strawberries, pineapple juice, coconut milk, lemon juice, and powdered sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides or pulsing as needed.
  2. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more pineapple juice or coconut milk to adjust the consistency. For a firmer, “whip-like” texture, blend for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Scoop the strawberry dole whip into serving glasses or cones. Optionally, top with shredded coconut, fresh strawberries, or a sprig of mint.
  4. For a firmer texture, freeze the mixture for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.

Notes

If the strawberries aren’t sweet enough, add more powdered sugar, honey, or maple syrup to taste.

For a creamier texture, use full-fat coconut milk. For a lighter option, try almond milk or oat milk.

Frozen strawberries work best for the classic Dole Whip texture. Fresh strawberries will create a softer texture, more like a smoothie.
