Ingredients

Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add melted butter and the yeast mixture. Stir and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Let the Dough Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp towel, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Prepare the Baking Soda Bath: Boil 10 cups of water in a large pot, then add baking soda carefully. Reduce heat to simmer.

Shape the Pretzel Bites: Punch down the dough and roll it into a 12-inch rope. Cut into 1-inch pieces.

Boil the Pretzel Bites: Drop the pretzel bites into the boiling bath for 30 seconds, then place on the prepared baking sheet.
