- 2 apples, cored and sliced
Additional Ingredients
- 1 piece fresh ginger, approx 1-2 inch chunk
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash all fresh produce thoroughly. Slice the cucumber, celery, and apples as noted. Remove kale leaves from their stems and loosely pack the spinach.
- Add to Juicer: Place the cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, apples, and ginger into a juicer, alternating between the softer and firmer items to ensure smooth extraction of juice.
- Extract the Juice: Turn on the juicer and process all ingredients until fully juiced and the pulp is separated.
- Mix and Flavor: Pour the extracted juice into a glass or pitcher and stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice for added brightness and flavor balance.
- Serve Chilled: Serve the green juice immediately over ice if desired, or refrigerate briefly to enjoy a cold, refreshing drink. For best nutrition and taste, consume within 24 hours.
