Instructions
- Mince the garlic finely.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat until melted.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in frozen peas, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peas are tender and heated through.
- Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest, if using.
- Serve warm as a quick side dish.
Notes
Add fresh herbs like mint, parsley, or basil for extra freshness.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for richness.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
Use olive oil or vegan butter to make it vegan.
Fresh peas can be used but should be blanched before sautéing.
