Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 lb ground beef

2 cups milk

1 tbsp garlic, minced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp onion powder

3 cups pasta noodles (penne, shells, or rotini work well)

2 cups water (for cooking pasta)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Stir to coat beef with seasonings.
  3. Stir in pasta noodles, milk, and 2 cups water, ensuring pasta is mostly submerged.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in cream cheese until melted into a smooth sauce.
  6. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until fully combined and cheesy.
  7. Let sit for a few minutes to thicken slightly before serving.
