Ingredients
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb ground beef
2 cups milk
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
3 cups pasta noodles (penne, shells, or rotini work well)
2 cups water (for cooking pasta)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Stir to coat beef with seasonings.
- Stir in pasta noodles, milk, and 2 cups water, ensuring pasta is mostly submerged.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted into a smooth sauce.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until fully combined and cheesy.
- Let sit for a few minutes to thicken slightly before serving.
Notes
Add diced tomatoes or ketchup for a more classic cheeseburger flavor.
Use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef for a lighter version.
Add vegetables like peas, spinach, or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
Reheat with a splash of milk to loosen sauce consistency.
