Nutter Butter Turkey Cookies are a no-bake, kid-friendly Thanksgiving dessert made with peanut butter cookies, candy melts, candy eyes, and M&M’s, decorated to look like festive little turkeys.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 10 cookies

Ingredients

20 medium candy eyeballs

10 orange M&M’s

6 oz chocolate candy melts

⅓ cup red candy melts

10 Nutter Butter cookies

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip one side of each Nutter Butter cookie into the melted chocolate to form the turkey body. Place on parchment paper to set.
  3. Attach candy eyeballs near the top of each cookie using a dab of melted chocolate.
  4. Add one orange M&M beneath the eyes to form the beak.
  5. Melt red candy melts and pipe or spoon on a wattle next to the beak.
  6. Let cookies set completely before serving or packaging.

Notes

Use candy corn or colorful chocolate candies to create feathers.

Work in small batches to prevent candy melts from hardening too quickly.

If you don’t have candy eyes, pipe them with melted white and dark chocolate.

Refrigeration helps the candy coating set faster, especially in warm kitchens.
