Ingredients
Tea
- 1 tsp loose leaf Earl Grey tea or 1 teabag
- 250 ml boiling hot water
Milk and Sweetener
- 120 ml whole milk
- 2 tbsp vanilla syrup
Instructions
- Brew the Tea: Steep the loose leaf Earl Grey tea or tea bag in 250 ml of boiling hot water for about 3-5 minutes to extract the full flavor and aroma.
- Steam the Milk: Heat the whole milk in a saucepan or using a milk frother until warm and frothy, but not boiling.
- Combine Ingredients: Pour the brewed Earl Grey tea into a cup, add 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup, and then gently pour in the steamed milk, stirring lightly to blend the flavors together.
- Serve: Serve immediately while warm. Optionally, garnish with a lemon slice or a light dusting of lavender for an extra aromatic touch.
Notes
- Use a milk frother or steam wand for best frothy texture.
- Adjust the amount of vanilla syrup to taste for sweetness preference.
- Substitute whole milk with any plant-based milk for a dairy-free version.
- Steeping Earl Grey tea too long can cause bitterness; aim for 3-5 minutes.
