Ingredients
1 package lemon cake mix (regular size)
2–1/4 cups whipped topping
1 large egg, room temperature
Confectioners’ sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine lemon cake mix, whipped topping, and egg. Stir until the dough is soft and fully mixed.

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat with powdered sugar.

Place the dough balls on the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.

Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with more powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Add fresh lemon zest for extra citrus flavor.
For a more vibrant look, add yellow food coloring to the dough.
Drizzle a lemon glaze (powdered sugar and lemon juice) for extra sweetness and lemon flavor.
