Irresistible S’mores Hand Pies are a portable version of the classic s’mores treat, featuring a flaky, buttery crust filled with melty chocolate, gooey marshmallows, and crunchy graham crackers. These hand pies are perfect for any occasion, offering all the deliciousness of s’mores in a convenient, handheld form.

Ingredients

14.1 oz package refrigerated pie dough (about 2 crusts)

2 bars chocolate, chopped into small pieces

½ cup miniature marshmallows

¾ cup crushed graham crackers (keep half for topping)

2 tbsp salted butter, melted

Water (for sealing edges)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the refrigerated pie dough on a floured surface. Using a round cutter (about 3 inches in diameter), cut out circles of dough for the hand pies. You’ll need two circles per pie.
  2. Place one dough circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Layer a small handful of chopped chocolate, 1 tablespoon of miniature marshmallows, and a sprinkle of crushed graham crackers on the circle. Leave a border around the edge for sealing.
  3. Lightly brush the edges of the dough with water. Place a second circle of dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges and ensure they’re tightly sealed. Use a small knife to make a few slits on the top to allow steam to escape.
  4. Brush the tops of the hand pies with melted salted butter and sprinkle with the remaining crushed graham crackers.
  5. Place the hand pies in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them towards the end to avoid overbaking.
  6. Let the hand pies cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the gooey, melty s’mores goodness!

Notes

You can use homemade pie dough, but refrigerated dough makes this recipe quicker and easier.

Feel free to use your favorite chocolate, such as milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or chocolate with added flavors like hazelnut.

If you don’t have miniature marshmallows, cut regular marshmallows into smaller pieces to fit the pies.
