Ingredients
Dressing Ingredients
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
Instructions
- Combine ingredients. In a medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream until smooth and well combined, ensuring a creamy base for the dressing.
- Add herbs and seasoning. Stir in the minced fresh parsley (or dried parsley), onion powder, garlic powder, dried dill, and fine sea salt until evenly incorporated throughout the mixture.
- Chill the dressing. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and develop fully.
- Serve and enjoy. After chilling, give the dressing a good stir and serve it as a salad dressing, dip for vegetables, or accompaniment to your favorite dishes.
Notes
- For best flavor, let the dressing chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a little more buttermilk until desired thickness is reached.
- Store leftover dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Use fresh herbs when possible to enhance the brightness of the dressing.
- This dressing is great as a dip for fresh veggies, wings, or as a spread on sandwiches.
