This Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese combines the best of both worlds: the crispy, golden-brown bread of garlic bread and the gooey, melty cheese of a classic grilled cheese. The garlic-infused butter adds a savory punch, while mozzarella and cheddar create the ultimate cheesy filling. Perfect for a quick snack or an indulgent dinner, this flavorful twist on a classic favorite is sure to satisfy!

  • Total Time: Approximately 10-15 minutes
  • Yield: 2 sandwiches

Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter:

2 tablespoons butter, softened

½ tablespoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon dried parsley

For the Sandwiches:

4 slices of bread

1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  • Prepare the Garlic Butter:
In a small bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Mix until fully incorporated.

  • Assemble the Sandwiches:
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread. On the non-buttered side, add a generous amount of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend.

  • Grill the Sandwiches:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the bread slices with cheese facing inward onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crispy. Flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes until both sides are golden and the cheese is melted.

  • Serve:
Once golden and crispy, remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot. Enjoy your cheesy, garlic goodness!

Notes

Cheese Variations: Add provolone, gouda, or parmesan for a different flavor.

Bread Options: While white or whole wheat bread works great, sourdough, ciabatta, or even baguette can provide a different texture.
