Feta Cheese Dip is a creamy, tangy spread made with roasted garlic, crumbled feta cheese, olive oil, and fresh lemon juice. This easy-to-make dip offers a perfect balance of salty, sweet, and bright flavors, ideal for serving with pita bread, fresh vegetables, crackers, or sandwiches.

  • Total Time: Approximately 45 minutes
  • Yield: 6-8 servings

Ingredients

1 bulb garlic, roasted

8 ounces crumbled feta cheese

⅓ cup olive oil

½ lemon, juiced

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Roast garlic: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast 30-40 minutes until soft and caramelized. Cool.

  • Prepare dip: In a food processor or blender, combine roasted garlic cloves (squeezed from skins), feta, olive oil, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  • Season: Taste and add salt and pepper as needed. Blend briefly again.

  • Serve: Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with extra olive oil if desired. Serve with pita, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Notes

Add fresh herbs (dill, parsley, mint) for extra flavor.

Stir in red pepper flakes for spice.

Mix Greek yogurt for creamier texture.

Top with toasted pine nuts or olives for crunch.
