Ingredients
4 fresh peaches
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp brown sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp ginger powder
A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Wash peaches, remove pits, and slice into wedges.
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and foamy.
- Add peach slices and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until slightly softened.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Toss gently and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sugar dissolves and coats the peaches in a light caramel glaze.
- Serve warm, on their own or as a topping.
Notes
Add a splash of bourbon or rum after the sugar melts for a boozy twist.
Top with chopped pecans or almonds for added crunch.
Add nutmeg or cardamom for more spice complexity.
Use coconut oil or plant-based margarine for a vegan option.
