Quick and easy caramelized peaches pan-fried with butter, brown sugar, and warm spices, perfect as a dessert or topping for breakfast dishes.

  • Total Time: 11–13 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

4 fresh peaches

1 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp brown sugar (adjust to taste)

1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

1/4 tsp ginger powder

A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Wash peaches, remove pits, and slice into wedges.
  2. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and foamy.
  3. Add peach slices and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until slightly softened.
  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger powder, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Toss gently and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the sugar dissolves and coats the peaches in a light caramel glaze.
  6. Serve warm, on their own or as a topping.

Notes

Add a splash of bourbon or rum after the sugar melts for a boozy twist.

Top with chopped pecans or almonds for added crunch.

Add nutmeg or cardamom for more spice complexity.

Use coconut oil or plant-based margarine for a vegan option.
