Ingredients
4 lobster tails (4–6 oz each), thawed if frozen
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat broiler (or grill) and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Cut down the top of each lobster shell with kitchen scissors, gently pull the meat upward, and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush lobster meat generously with garlic butter.
- Broil for 8–10 minutes, until meat is opaque and lightly golden.
- Brush with any remaining garlic butter, then sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add chili flakes or cayenne to the butter mixture.
Old Bay seasoning can replace smoked paprika for a classic seafood flavor.
Add a splash of white wine to the butter for extra richness.
Best enjoyed fresh; reheat gently with butter to avoid toughness.
Can be grilled or baked as an alternative cooking method.
