Garlic butter lobster tails are a quick, elegant seafood dish featuring tender lobster brushed with a rich garlic butter sauce and finished with lemon and herbs. Perfect for a special occasion or restaurant-style dinner at home.

Ingredients

4 lobster tails (46 oz each), thawed if frozen

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler (or grill) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Cut down the top of each lobster shell with kitchen scissors, gently pull the meat upward, and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush lobster meat generously with garlic butter.
  5. Broil for 8–10 minutes, until meat is opaque and lightly golden.
  6. Brush with any remaining garlic butter, then sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Serve hot with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add chili flakes or cayenne to the butter mixture.

Old Bay seasoning can replace smoked paprika for a classic seafood flavor.

Add a splash of white wine to the butter for extra richness.

Best enjoyed fresh; reheat gently with butter to avoid toughness.
