Ingredients
1 lb (454 g) fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried well
12 oz (340 g) orange candy melts
1/4 cup (35 g) semisweet chocolate chips
1 12-inch disposable pastry bag
Instructions
- Rinse and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
- Melt orange candy melts until smooth.
- Dip each strawberry into melted candy, coating completely. Place on parchment-lined sheet to set.
- Melt semisweet chocolate chips and transfer to pastry bag.
- Pipe vertical lines on coated strawberries to mimic pumpkin ridges.
- Allow chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
Strawberries must be completely dry for the coating to stick.
Use white chocolate with orange coloring if candy melts aren’t available.
Pipe green candy melts or icing on top for stems and leaves.
Best enjoyed the same day for freshness.
