Chocolate Acorn Cookies are fun, no-bake fall treats made with mini cookies, Hershey’s Kisses, butterscotch chips, and frosting. They look like little acorns, making them perfect for autumn parties or festive snacking.

  • Total Time: 50 minutes (including chill time)
  • Yield: 25 cookies

Ingredients

25 mini Nilla wafers

25 Hershey’s Kisses (milk chocolate)

25 butterscotch chips

1/4 cup chocolate frosting (for glue)

Instructions

  1. Arrange mini Nilla wafers upside-down on a flat surface.
  2. Microwave chocolate frosting in 30-second increments, stirring until melted and smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Dab a small amount of frosting onto the bottom of each wafer and press a Hershey’s Kiss onto it. Chill for 15 minutes.
  4. Once set, add a dab of frosting to the top of each wafer and attach a butterscotch chip as the stem. Chill another 15 minutes until firm.
  5. Serve once set, or store in an airtight container.

Notes

This is a no-bake recipe just assemble and chill.

You can use melted chocolate instead of frosting for stronger adhesion.

Swap butterscotch chips with chocolate or peanut butter chips for variety.

Decorate with sprinkles or sanding sugar for extra festivity.
