Ingredients
2 tubes (8 oz each) original crescent rolls
2 cans (12.5 oz) canned chicken (or 2 1/2 cups cooked shredded chicken)
1 bar (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sliced green onions (or more to taste)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Breadcrumb Topping:
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a medium bowl, combine the canned or shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, sliced green onions, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Mix well until combined.
-
Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture onto the center of each crescent triangle.
-
Fold the edges of the crescent dough over the filling to form a sealed pillow shape. Pinch seams together to secure the filling.
-
Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
-
In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried parsley, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the tops of the chicken pillows.
-
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden and crispy.
-
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy on its own.
