- 20 ounces fresh cheese tortellini

- ½ cup basil pesto

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the tortellini dish.
- Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fresh cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-4 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, basil pesto, and grated parmesan cheese. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Mix Pasta and Peas: Add the cooked tortellini and frozen peas to the pesto cream mixture. Season with kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Stir gently to coat all the pasta and peas evenly.
- Assemble the Bake: Transfer the tortellini mixture to a greased baking dish. Spread it evenly, then sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown on top.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle some extra grated parmesan cheese on top for garnish. Serve warm and enjoy!
