Ingredients
50 seedless green grapes, completely dried
1 cup caramel bits
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 cup salted peanuts or cashews, finely crushed
Toothpicks for serving
Instructions
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel bits and heavy cream. Heat in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth and melted.
-
Holding a grape with a toothpick, dip it into the warm caramel until fully coated.
-
Immediately roll the caramel-coated grape in crushed nuts until evenly covered.
-
Place the finished grapes on a parchment-lined tray. Repeat with remaining grapes.
-
Allow caramel to set at room temperature or refrigerate briefly before serving.
Notes
Use white chocolate chips instead of caramel for a different flavor profile.
Swap nuts for toasted coconut flakes or crushed pretzels for variety.
Sprinkle sea salt on caramel before nut coating for a salted caramel twist.
Use red or mixed grapes for colorful presentation.
Double dip for thicker caramel coating.
