Instructions
- Prepare the focaccia bread: Cut the focaccia bread horizontally to create a top and bottom slice suitable for a sandwich.
- Slice the tomato and mozzarella: Wash the tomato and cut it into thin slices. Similarly, slice the fresh mozzarella evenly to match the size of the focaccia slices.
- Assemble the sandwich: On the bottom piece of focaccia, layer the slices of tomato, then add the mozzarella slices on top followed by a generous handful of rocket leaves.
- Season: Lightly sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper over the ingredients to enhance the flavors.
- Close and serve: Place the top slice of focaccia over the fillings and press gently. Cut the sandwich into portions if desired, and serve immediately for the best fresh taste.
