Celebrate the holidays with a festive and fun treat! This Candy Cane Crunch Milkshake is a creamy, indulgent drink featuring vanilla ice cream, Cool Whip, crushed candy canes, and chocolate chips. It’s the perfect holiday-inspired milkshake to bring festive cheer to your taste buds!

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

4 scoops vanilla ice cream (about 2 cups)

1 cup Cool Whip (thawed or frozen)

1/4 cup milk

3 candy canes, unwrapped

1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Crush the Candy Canes:

    • Unwrap the candy canes and crush them in a ziplock bag or between sheets of parchment paper using a rolling pin or mallet. Leave some larger chunks for added texture.

  2. Blend the Milkshake:

    • In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, Cool Whip, and milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add the Candy Cane Crunch:

    • Add about 2/3 of the crushed candy canes and chocolate chips to the blender. Pulse a few times to incorporate them, leaving some chunks for that crunchy bite.

  4. Serve and Garnish:

    • Pour the milkshake into glasses, and top with the remaining crushed candy canes and chocolate chips. For an extra festive touch, garnish with a whole candy cane on the rim of the glass.

  5. Enjoy:

    • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing, crunchy holiday treat!

Notes

For a thicker milkshake, add more ice cream or reduce the milk.

You can substitute candy canes with peppermint bark or gingerbread cookies for a different flavor twist.

You can prep the milkshake base in advance and store it in the freezer, adding the candy canes and chocolate chips just before serving.
