Ingredients
Garlic Butter
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Tomato Sauce
- 3 tbsp tomato sauce
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Main Ingredients
- 1 pack Sister Schubert’s Parker House Style Yeast Rolls, thawed overnight
- 1 cup marble cheese, shredded
- 1 Polish sausage, diced
- ¼ red onion, finely diced
Instructions
- Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix thoroughly and set aside to infuse the flavors.
- Prepare the sauce: In a separate bowl, blend together the tomato sauce, ketchup, and Italian seasoning until well combined, creating a savory pizza base sauce.
- Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
- Shape the rolls: Arrange the thawed yeast rolls on the prepared baking tray. Gently press down in the center of each roll to form a shallow well, leaving a rim around the edges to mimic a deep dish pizza crust.
- Assemble the pizza rolls: Brush each roll generously with the prepared garlic butter. Spoon a portion of the tomato sauce mixture into each well, then top with shredded marble cheese, diced Polish sausage, and finely chopped red onion.
- Bake: Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the pizza rolls for 18–20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown, the cheese is bubbly, and the edges are slightly crispy.
Notes
- Ensure the yeast rolls are fully thawed before shaping to prevent tearing.
- Customize toppings by adding vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for more variety.
- For an extra crispy crust, you can broil the rolls for 1-2 minutes after baking, but watch closely to prevent burning.
- These pizza rolls are best served warm and fresh from the oven but can be reheated in a toaster oven or conventional oven.
